New Jumbotron Operator and Director of Video Joins Fire Up Video

With the addition of the DragonFly screen this year, we needed to bring another person on board to help at all of our events. After a long search of candidates, we found someone who we know will be a great addition to the Fire Up Crew. We have hired Cayman, a senior this upcoming year at Saint John’s University, as our new Director of Video, and Screen Operator. You can read a little bit about his background, and what he will bring to the Fire Up team below.

Cayman was born in 1994 and is an intern for Fire Up Video this Summer 2016. Cayman will be a senior this fall at Saint John’s University earning a degree in Business and a minor in Communications. This past semester he spent four months studying Sports Management and Marketing in Coventry, England while also interning for the Coventry City Football Club.

In high school, Cayman first began working with video production as a part of the student-run weekly news show. As a freshman in college, he joined the newly founded online student news show Johnnie Bennie Campus News by working as an editor and camera operator and has been an Associate Producer since Fall 2015. He has also been a production manager the past two years for the Stream Team, a group of student employees who live broadcast home sports games of the Saint John’s Johnnies for online viewership. This coming school year he looks forward to being the new General Manager of the Stream Team. While not working, Cayman likes playing and watching sports, specifically rooting for the Minnesota teams.

We are very excited to have Cayman on board, and look forward to him joining the rest of our crew to continue to grow Fire Up Video. With each new year, we continue to bring our Jumbotron screens to more and more events, and in order to do so, we need a professional group of employees that we can count on. With Cayman now a part of the team, we are confident that we have what we need to continue to improve our mobile screen rental services.
