Building a New Mobile Video Wall Option

In order to provide our customers with more options to fit their event needs, we are taking one of our existing mobile FireFly screens and redoing it to create the FireFly SS. The “SS” acronym for Super Sport comes from the muscle car days of the 60’s and 70’s. In 1961, the SS “kit” (known as a sport and appearance package) was first offered on any Impala for just $53.80. Unfortunately, the upgrade on a Jumbotron is just a little more expensive…

With the new FireFly SS, we are able to offer an option somewhere between the current FireFly and DragonFly screens. The upgrade will create a screen about 20% larger and over 4X the resolution of the current FireFly. We are also adding a couple feet onto the trailer length and enclosing the front to a V-nose. This extra space will create a larger, upgraded control room allowing us to run higher-end shows right from the trailer.
