So you have committed to having a daylight screen at your event. It is new for you and your event and you want to make sure you have done all you need to do to make the usage of the screen go smoothly. Here are some things you will want to think about.
Site :
When we arrive on site we are pulling the Jumbotron in an enclosed trailer. You want to make sure you are placing on a fairly level surface. The trailer has doors that open on two sides, so you want to have about a min of 20 inches so we can have enough room to get in and out of those two doors.
Space :
You can find specs for the space size we need for our LED daylight screens we use here:

Power :
We can use two types of power:
- On board generator
- Shore power
On board generator: We us this in remote locations when you do not have other power options. Our on board generators are whisper quiet and generate all the power we need.
Shore power: Use this if our screen is located in an area you do not want generator noise running constantly or if you do not want the exhaust blowing to an area that is next to our screen and the smell might bother workers or guests. At least 95% of the shows we do this it is not an issue, but potentially for example if a food vendor was right next to the screen and wind was blowing their direction it could be an issue.
Shore power comes from one of two sources. Your site might have the 220, 100 amp single-phase service we need hard-wired in. Or if you have large generators on site, that could potentially work for our LED screen(s). When using your shore power we ask you to have your electrician make the connection to your power.

Banners on Screen:
The Jumbotron becomes an automatic go-to place for the eyes of all your audience members. Why not use that to your advantage. You can use the space surrounding the screen and on the trailer either to display your own message, brand, website, etc., or to give more attention to your sponsors to keep them happy. This is definitely something you will want to think about beforehand to have ready. It can really add a lot of value to your or sponsors. Content :
As always, content is king. Having a big screen TV at your event is only as good as the content you display on it. We can bring the Jumbotron and help you with what to put on it, but if you don’t have much to show, you will not be using the full potential of the LED screen. Whatever you want to be played on the screen, we can make it happen. Whether it is live action from our camera(s), a sponsor loop either you or we have created, your messages to the crowd, a prerecorded video, or any combination of things, we can make it happen. It’s one thing to have the daylight screen at your event, it’s another to have some great content that is guaranteed to keep eyes on the screen the whole time. Just give some thought to what your audience will be seeing.
And if you take the time to think about these things and plan ahead, that should give you a great start on the path to a very successful event. We are glad to help you on the way there, and will do everything we can to make this happen.
