Live Streaming Solutions During Coronavirus

It seems like live streaming of of all kinds is at an all-time high right now while we are all quarantined due to the COVID-19 virus. Whether it is simply streaming to Facebook live via your phone or laptop, or a full-scale professional production, it’s hard to go very long without seeing a live stream somewhere.

If you are looking for a slightly more robust system than just using your phone to go live, we have a number of live stream solutions. These range from simple live-streaming to a solution with a little higher video production level. Some of these solutions require either a wifi, hardwire, or wireless connection, whether that’s provided from the venue or if we can get it through a cell carrier or other provider. This can be done using a phone, laptop, or Newtek Tricaster video switcher if you would like multiple inputs or camera angles while you are live.

We also have a solution that can provide our own wireless internet signal in more remote locations. Our LiveU Solo devices can take multiple wireless signals from different carriers and bonds them to create a stronger signal. The LiveU then can directly stream to sites such as Youtube, Facebook, Twitch, Vimeo, and more, and can also embed it directly to a website. This option is best when there isn’t a reliable signal available. It even works in large crowds when cell signals can be crowded, although we obviously won’t have any large gatherings anytime soon.
