A Little Bit About Fire Up Video’s “Fire Chief”

As you may know, Dave, the owner of Fire Up Video, is not a real Fire Chief, although he gets that question all the time. However, Dave supports first responders and thought that not only did the title fit with the Fire Up brand, but also paid tribute to those who run toward danger, not away from it. With the recent events in Ukraine, Dave has been struck by the determination of the people and government to live free or die. The saying “Freedom is not free” is one of Dave’s favorites, and rings true for the people of Ukraine.

Another thing you may not know about Dave is that he studied and has a degree in Photography from Hennepin Technical College. Although he never shot much professionally, he has always appreciated a great image and admired the work of many photographers and artists. He recently started a personal Instagram account to display some of his photographs and art. Check it out @fireupimages.
