 LED Mobile Screen on Ice Drone Video

At Fire Up Video, we travel all over the country with our mobile LED screens. And when we travel south and tell people we are from Minnesota, one of the things we often get asked about is ice fishing. A lot of people think we are crazy for stepping foot or even driving on frozen water, much less sitting outside in the cold trying to pull fish through that frozen water. Then we tell them we bring our Jumbotron big screen TV on the ice, and they look at us like we’re insane.

But for people in Minnesota or in northern states, this idea is much more understandable. Every year, we bring our LED screens onto the frozen lakes for events such as ice fishing tournaments, polar plunges, or others. And it has always been a huge hit! (With no scares of falling through the ice).

Of course, safety is our number one concern. We always make sure the ice is thick enough to bring our truck and trailer with the LED Jumbotron. If there is ever any question, we will talk to the DNR or other reliable sources, but for all our events, we have never had an issue. As long as the ice is thick and the path and site is in good condition, it is actually quite safe and there is no worry about the screen.

Last year, we had our mobile LED video boards at the world’s largest ice fishing tournament. There was a video put together with some drone footage by a company called Drone Star.
