News from the Start of Fire Up Creative Custom LED Video Walls

Approximately three years after the founding of Fire Up Creative, we found this article that was written about starting the company and thought we should share. Check it out below:

Fire Up Video is proud to announce the formal partnership with Creative Concepts, an industry innovator in the meeting and event space, to offer mutual services for meetings and live events. Along with the partnership, we are also announcing the creation of a new mutually owned company, Fire Up Creative, that brings services not previously available through either Fire Up Video or Creative Concepts. The new company will focus efforts on LED screen solutions for the indoor and outdoor event markets that are flown in the air or stacked from the ground up.

“We are proud of our partnership with Creative Concepts,” said Dave Baum, Owner and Fire Chief of Fire Up Video. “We have had a relationship for a number of years, as we have worked at common events. Brent and his team have always had a similar philosophy as Fire Up Video: Roll up your sleeves, figure out the problems, offer solutions rather than excuses, and get the job done.”

Cody Baum, Fire Master at Fire Up Video, recalls the conversation that led to the partnership and creation of Fire Up Creative. “We were on the way to meet Brent for lunch,” said Cody. “Dave was telling me how he liked how Brent did business and how our companies had a lot in common without directly competing. He told me when the time is right, maybe we approach Brent to create a partnership. We entered the restaurant, and the first thing Brent said was basically a repeat of our conversation not five minutes earlier. My dad and I just looked at each other and smiled. The rest is history.”

Fire Up Creative will focus on the creative use of LED screens in the trade show and live event markets. “We are starting slow and dipping our toes in the water,” said Brent Bixby, Owner and Chief Problem Solver at Creative Concepts. “We are doing our due diligence to make sure we have a product offering that meets the demands of clients. We have not inked a deal for our first purchase, but we are close. We are excited for the future of LED screen solutions. The technology is rapidly changing, creating solutions for the meeting and event space that will change the way our world consumes visual information.”

And three years after being in business, we have built custom screens for all kinds of events, such as concerts, trade shows, business meetings, marathons, sporting events, festivals, movie screenings, races, expos, corporate events, tailgating, video game tournaments, graduations, charities, fundraisers, and more. We have done a lot, and learned a lot over the last three years. Thank you to everyone who has given us the opportunity to be a part of their event, and we look forward to all the great events we will be a part of in the years to come.
