When you are at a game or event and something incredible happens, the first thing many people do is turn to the jumbotron to see the replay. It would be a shame to disappoint the crowd by not being able to show that amazing play or moment. Now we have the solution!

Recently we purchased a Streamstar video switcher with live replay, and were impressed with how we were able to run the whole production and incorporate instant replay and more into the live show.

We have brought our screens to a number of rodeos and bull rides over the years, and always thought it would be nice to offer replay services to these and other sporting events. But really any event that has a moment they would like to replay to their audience within seconds could benefit from something like this.

With our Streamstar system, we can run the entire show with live video switching from multiple cameras and inputs, but the real advantage of this switcher is the replay capability. Seconds after a great play, we can go to the instant replay of that, and view it from multiple camera angles, as well as in slow motion and freeze frame.

Along with replay, we can also save the best moments throughout the event to create a “highlight reel” to play later on in the event.
