Drone Video of Jumbotron Screen on Frozen Lake
As the ice starts forming on more northern lakes, we like to remind event planners of our ability to bring a big screen video wall onto the ice. Every year, we bring our LED screens onto the frozen lakes for events such as ice fishing tournaments, polar plunges, and others. And it has always been a huge hit! (With no scares of falling through the ice).
Of course, safety is our number one concern. We always make sure the ice is thick enough to bring our truck and trailer with the LED Jumbotron. If there is ever any question, we will talk to the DNR or other reliable sources, but for all our events, we have never had an issue. As long as the ice is thick and the path and site is in good condition, it is actually quite safe and there is no worry about the screen.
Last year, we had our mobile LED video boards at the world’s largest ice fishing tournament. There was a video put together with some drone footage by a company called Drone Star. Throughout the video, you can see our LED video wall, with the best look coming at around 2:25. You can watch the video below to see our Jumbotron screen on the frozen lake!
