Rent a Jumbotron for Outdoor Winter Events

Here in Minnesota, we are well into the winter season, and hopefully coming to the end of it. While the large outdoor events are more limited than in the summer, there are still plenty of outdoor gatherings around the Midwest. And we would just like to put out our reminder that our mobile LED screens work great in all four seasons. Even with the snow and cold of Minnesota winters, our jumbotrons can handle the weather just fine.

Of course our video screens work great in the summer months, but they have also been built to withstand all the wild conditions that Midwest winters can throw at us. Still, there are a few extra steps and precautions we need to take, but we have used our LED video walls in outdoor winter weather throughout the years. In the middle of huge blizzards, rain, sleet, snow, and negative temperatures, our screens have survived all these conditions and continued to run.

As is the case year round, the weather we need to be most concerned with is high winds and lightning. If either of these conditions occur, we can quickly lower the screen halfway within thirty seconds and wait until the severe weather passes. Negative temperatures and heavy snow/sleet accumulation should be monitored, but are still manageable, and have yet to slow our screens down in over twelve years of business.

One other consideration is to make sure we can get our truck and LED trailer in place at your venue in the weather conditions. Our trailers are hauled with full-size pickup trucks to get them into place, and require a clear path to the final placement. Specifically for winter events, this means we will need snow plowed around the video screen location so we have room to get the screen set in the correct location, and that the path to this spot is drivable through the snow and ice, especially if we are off-road or on uneven ground.

Our video boards have been rented at outdoor events in the winter such as hockey games, snowmobiling events, cross country skiing events, ice fishing tournaments, polar plunges, and more, including other events that are not necessarily associated with winter weather. Some of these include concerts, trade shows, corporate meetings, other sporting events, tailgating, family gatherings, movie screenings, festivals, expos, political events, movie screenings, and much more. We even bring our screens out on the frozen lakes for a number of events each year.
