As COVID last longer, companies are looking for ways to continue doing business in new ways while in the middle of a pandemic. Many of them are still trying to figure out a way to get team members together during COVID. Whether it’s for an annual meeting, fundraiser or charity, special event, or just to reunite employees for a fun night while staff may not be working in the office at full capacity, Fire Up Video has a solution. Since the Coronavirus hit, these kinds of events have become very popular. We have done a number of these events now since the first shut down, so we have a pretty good idea how it works. Typically, we set up one or more of our mobile LED jumbotrons in a large parking lot or field, and guest vehicles can pull up and see all the action of the event, while staying safe and socially distanced. Whatever content you want to play, we can display it directly on the big screens so it can be seen by everyone. We have FM transmitters we can set up that allow each vehicle to play audio from the event directly through their car stereo, or we can set up a full sound system with speakers.

There are a number of ways to run the drive-in event for your employees. It could be done as an informational event, such as a meeting or product launch. We could use the video screens to play slideshows that go along with the speaker, or a live camera following the action. Or maybe you want to have an event just to get back together and do something fun with your staff. You could have some entertainment on the stage that plays on the video board with live cameras, or have a classic drive-in movie night with families. Or maybe you want to do a hybrid and do some business and fun while you are already renting the screen and planning the event. You could hold your meeting first, then follow it up with a movie screening or other live entertainment.

Although the vaccine has started coming out, we don’t know when things will get back to some form of “normal,” so these drive-in or hybrid events could still be a thing for a while. We need to continue on with life, and figure out new ways to do that safely and effectively. These big screen TVs help people gather together while still being able to socially distance. No one knows what to expect over the next few weeks, months, or even years, so we understand the uncertainty of planning an event. Even if you aren’t sure if this is right for your business, we would love to talk to you and figure out if it makes sense for you. Also, our screens are great for events even when social distancing isn’t required, so if you’re waiting to see what happens with COVID, you could still benefit from a jumbotron either way.
