LED Video Screens for Drive-In Movie Night

drive-in movie night during coronavirus with LED video screens

Drive-in movie using LED jumbotrons

While we are all apart practicing social distancing, we are missing the personal interactions we may have taken for granted. Now people are looking for anyway to get out of the house socially, while still being safe and following new restrictions due to COVID-19. One way to provide this option is to hold a drive-in movie night, a great way to feel the nostalgia of the old days when these drive-ins were more common. Or simply the nostalgia from a couple months ago when we could leave the house to have fun with family and friends.

These drive-in movie screenings may be making a comeback, or at least temporarily while we arr adjusting to times during this pandemic. We have the technology to quickly set up a large LED video screen in any location that can be used as big outdoor movie screen. Our jumbotrons provide a bright, clear, picture that looks great in direct sunlight or at night. These mobile screens raise out the top our our trailers and tower over the crowd, and can be seen for hundreds of feet.

Guests can drive up to the parking lot, field, or park to watch the movie, with a safe distance between vehicles. We can set up our speakers, or a system to play the audio directly through their car stereos via an FM transmitter. Moviegoers can watch and listen to the movie(s) from the safety and comfort of their vehicles, without ever needing to leave.

Hosting an event such as this is a great way to bring together families and communities, and give them something to get excited about in a time that is needed. You can sell tickets online to limit contact, or hold it as an open event for a community, a church, or use it as a fundraiser asking for donations to a charity. The event can also sell concessions, as long as it is done safely and within any current restrictions. You may be able to get large corporate or local sponsors to help cover the cost of the event in return for advertising, either in banners, online, or ads displayed on the video board.

Along with our drive-in movies, we also offer other “drive-in” style events during Coronavirus. Some of these include drive-in graduation ceremonies, drive-in church and religious services, drive-in concerts, thank you messaging and traffic control, corporate meetings and events, and more. We also provide live-streaming services so you can stream the event online for anyone to see around the world. We are adapting to a new time of events during COVID, and are happy to work with you if you have other needs or ideas how we can help with an LED video display.
