Pop-Up “Drive-In” Concerts with Jumbotron LED Screens

Host a Social Distancing Drive-In Concert on the Big Screen

Right now, people are searching for anything that resembles the normal activities they were used to before the Coronavirus pandemic. One of these popular activities was to attend live concerts. Of course, large gatherings of any kind are prohibited right now, so any concert as we know them would not be allowed. However, at Fire Up Video, we have a couple solutions to create a new kind of concert during this quarantined time.

The first option is to host a pop-up “drive-in” concert. Much like the drive in movies from back in the day that are now becoming more frequent, this is a way to attend a concert while maintaining social distancing and staying in your vehicle. We will set up our large mobile LED screens, then attendees can pull up in their vehicles and watch and listen to the whole concert without ever having to leave the car. The artists will perform on the stage, then we can film and give a direct live feed to the jumbotron screen so everyone can see the action. We can either provide a large sound system, or play the audio through our FM transmitter to feed it directly to each individual car stereo.

A second similar option is to play past pre-recorded concerts on the LED video wall, while using the similar drive-in option in the previous solution. If you go to Youtube, you can find videos of full-length videos of some of the most iconic concerts in history. And of course there are others that you can’t find online that you may want to use as well. More and more, live events are being recorded so they can be seen on command, so there are options for any genre of music. This is an event we have been wanting to try long before the COVID-19 virus hit, so we think this would be a huge hit right now while people are desperately looking for something to do while staying safe.

And a third option is to film a concert or performance and live stream it online. We have probably all seen the live concerts on TV, or the smaller performances online of artists playing their music for fans. We have the equipment to film and live stream this to your followers or a larger audience via Facebook, Youtube, Vimeo, Twitch, your website, and more. We can also help by filming your performance and providing some video production so you can share your performance at a later time.

If you are a venue, event organizer, artist, musician, or someone that just wants to host a drive-up concert experience for guests, please let us know how we can be of assistance. Fire Up Video provides LED video boards for event rental all over the Midwest, including states, such as Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Missouri, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Kansas, Kentucky, Tennessee, Colorado, Nebraska, and more.
