Thank You All For 2021

Looking Back at the Past Year

2021 was yet again another crazy year for everyone, and the event industry is no exception. The year was filled with plenty of ups and downs, along with plenty of unknowns. The previous year we had many of our events postponed or cancelled, but luckily we were able to pivot and pick up other drive-in style and streaming events. And we still had plenty of those again in 2021, but once spring came around, we also saw most events come back this year. So between all our normal events we typically do in a year, with the addition of of some drive-in and socially distanced events, 2021 turned out to be a pretty good year for Fire Up Video as a company.

And even though we had a busy year, it wasn’t without new difficulties. As with many industries and businesses, the last couple years have brought up new challenges. One of these was the uncertainty of planning an event. Many people were optimistic and wanted to hold their events this year, but weren’t sure if they would be able. So we had to be flexible, and we appreciate everyone who was transparent and flexible with us as well. And again like everyone else staffing became and added complication that made it difficult to plan for. But we made it work, with a little extra effort at times. And then there were the extra safety precautions we had to plan around. Of course we are happy to do what was needed to keep people safe, but like everyone else, it just adds one more step on top of everything else.

But with all that, we are still extremely grateful to still be around, in good health, and able to still do what we love. We know not everyone or every business has been as fortunate, and we do not take it for granted. We were still very lucky to spend this year travelling around the country with our mobile LED screens, bringing them to small community events, to large festivals, sporting events, concerts, marathons, and more. Every time we were able to help out an event with our jumbotrons, whether it was to help with social distancing or a drive-in event, or to help bring joy and excitement to an event, or help bring awareness or information to an important cause, we always remembered how grateful we were to still be doing this in such an uncertain time.

This year had a lot of added struggles, but also a lot of positives as well. And we have to thank everyone who we have worked with and who has supported us. From all the events and organizers who rented our LED video walls, we greatly appreciate the opportunity to do business with you, and for working with us in this difficult time to make these events go as smooth as possible. And for everyone who worked for us, or as part of our team, whether it was running a screen, as part of the camera crew, or an extra hand on set up or tear down, we couldn’t have made it through the year with you. And to all other business and technology partners who help us keep the company running, we are thankful for your help all year. And finally, to all the friends and family who have been by our side throughout the year, and dealt with our sometimes crazy and changing schedules. Thank you to everyone for being a part of our year, and we look forward to working with you again and making 2022 an even better year!
