Using Zoom To Better Understand Your Event and Build Relationship

Finding New Forms of Communication During a Pandemic

While everyone is quarantined at home due to Coronavirus, we are all finding new ways to communicate and keep running the company. If you hadn’t heard of it before, you have probably heard of Zoom over the past few weeks. It’s a video conferencing system that many people have been using even more now that so many are working in our home offices.

So we figured we would give it a try recently. It was a great way to check in with each other so we can continue our work individually while still being able to collaborate during this time of social distancing. But besides our internal use, we thought it could be a great tool to communicate with clients and other partners.

For one, its a more personal form of communication and can make it easier to talk and get to know the person. Seeing the person talk and the body language can help form an understanding. Secondly, it is super simple to share screens and apps between users. If there is something that can make an explanation easier by quickly demonstrating it via your computer screens, this can be a great tool. There is also a drawing tool so we can share screens to draw diagrams and layouts in real time and make it interactive. These are just a few of the tools that can really help when trying to get a full understanding so we can provide the best possible service specific to your event.

Best of all, it’s free! We can set up meetings in advance, or at a moment’s notice. With a free account, we can still have many users all included in a single call. It is great for video conferencing, webinars, audio communications, chats, and more, either using your phone or a computer. For a better experience, you can go to Zoom’s website to download the desktop app or create a free account, or download from the app store on your phone. Let us know if you would like to get on a video call to go over any details for your event, or we may request one if we feel it could help improve your event.
